Bento #4

Today I made turkey and cream cheese pinwheels, bugs on a log, and raisins under a cutie. She did not go for the “bugs” on the log, but maybe she would try it sans bugs… I’ll try the celery again in a few days LOL

Ok, I just recently (like within the past two days) became obsessed with kawaii and bentos for kids. I have been researching the past two weeks ideas to get my 3 year old to eat better. Ok, granted: *I* was not feeding her great food to begin with, but now that I’ve been trying for [...]

Welcome!

Right now, my site is in constant progress, as you can probably tell by the near constant changing of my blog theme! I am a mama, an artist, and a writer. I hope to somehow showcase all three aspects on this blog. As a mama, I am into nutrition, whole foods / real foods / clean eating, menu planning, and doing my best to make sure my kids eat well (as in not so much junk). As an artist, I'm a professional graphic designer and illustrator, specializing in print media, cartooning, murals, calligraphy, and digital painting. As a writer, I am working on my own stuff which I hope to publish someday soon, and I also write for local papers and magazines.
