A little bit about me:
I’ve been an artist as long as I can remember. My childhood aspiration was to be an animator for Disney, but hat obviously didn’t happen! LOL For the past 16 years, I’ve been working as a professional graphic designer and illustrator in the advertising / marketing industry. I create graphics for print and web. I’ve won multiple awards for my artwork. And I still work as a freelance artist if you’re looking!
When I was in high school, I knew I wanted to write books. I wasn’t sure how that would fit with my career goals as an artist, so I tucked those dreams away. Ever since I started drawing, I was creating characters, and making up back stories. None of those stories ever came to much. Fast forward to when our first daughter was born. For whatever reason, the desire to write came back strong, and anchored deep. I wrote my first book, I even had an agent interested, but the agony of the major rewrite she suggested deflated my hopes significantly. I put that book in the proverbial drawer. Maybe one day I’ll come back to it, and fix it.
I kept what she [the agent] said in mind when I started writing The Singularity. I love the story of the Singularity and I’m excited to get the whole series finished! Currently, I have all three books of The Singularity written, but only the first book is published so far. I still have to edit, compile, layout, and create artwork for the remaining two. The second book is slated to be released later this year.
My husband and I are pastors. We have
two three girls, and we travel the country in our RV; having adventures wherever we go. I like creating things, knitting, crocheting, painting murals and canvases, digital painting, doodling / drawing, writing, watching movies, reading books, traveling, and family adventures.
