So I started IF (intermittent fasting) January 7. I tracked my hours fasted each day and I tracked my steps. I tried counting calories for the first 7 days, but that was all I could handle. I found that it was easier for me to not eat, than it was to restrict intake. So I started again at 16:8 and pushed it out to 18:6 and 20:4. I did make it to OMAD on 3 of the 7 days of the last week of January. I feel good about that because I’m not someone who could only eat one meal for the day, so I think that’s really good progress. I feel like it’s getting easier.
And the results? I finally got the scale to move! I lost 3 pounds for the month of January!! Which is HUGE since I was stuck at the same weight for TWO YEARS!! (see my previous post here to catch up on my history).
I’m going to keep going and try to get to OMAD more consistently and see what the results are. I’ll keep you posted.
