A word about my blog...

Read any advice about blogging and it will say something along the lines of "pick one topic and stick with it."  I simply cannot do that -- not because I'm one to break the rules for the sake of breaking them -- but because I enjoy so many different things!  I once blogged, with a successful following, writing only about one topic, but I got bored with it.  I am creative.  That should be reason enough.  I know myself better than to chain myself to one subject for the life of my blog.  I consider myself a 'life-long learner;' I am always learning about something new, and whatever I'm learning about, I throw myself into it 100%.  It's my passion... for the time being... and when I've learned all I can about it, I move on to the next thing.  I know that sounds bad, like I don't have dedication to see something through, but that's not the case.  I stick with the important things -- like family, graphic design, writing, my work projects -- but with my hobbies and interests, they can be wide and varied, and on occasion I will find one I like and keep it.  The others, drop off.

All that to say, that my blog will be an open window into whatever the heck I'm passionate about at the time, and there's no foretelling what that might be on any given day.  So if I had to define my blog by one topic, it would be a grab bag!  Or like Forrest Gump's infamous box of chocolates!  All I can hope is that you find it entertaining enough to keep reading!
